Some of the biggest problems science faces is that there are lots of people (and lots who are older and didn’t grow up with it) who reject new things that science puts forward. Sciences that explore the workings of the natural world are usually called hard sciences, or natural sciences. Physics chemistry biology astronomy geology meteorology studies in these hard sciences involve experiments that are relatively easy to set up with controlled variables and in which it is easier to make objective measurements. They rarely tend to follow on from gcse level, unlike biology and physics.
